Malaysian Cultural and Scholarly Visit

A group of Teacher trainees and their lecturers from IPG kampus Tuanku Bainun, Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia, visited CDU campus, Darwin Schools and surrounds as part of intensive academic and cultural tour from May 31st- June 5th.  In support of NAVITAS, CDU Library, School of Academic Languages, LEBA Faculty office we had provisions of various workshops and symposium organised for this visit.

International Graduate center was pleased to host a symposium on 2nd June where the students presented their research on TESOL related issues relevant to their school communities. The presentations covered issues ranging from behavior management through to strategies to support listening and reading comprehension, learning vocabulary, distinguishing between different grammatical components, issues relating to cultural learning and a variety of language skills that are a challenge to Malaysian learners of English.
